How I met ArchaiclyModern
I first met this person on October 7th, 1993 at about 3pm. She was very small, very pink and very gooey, but I fell in love immediately!

I was interviewed about Lucid Dreaming in last weeks issue of the Miami SunPost newspaper.
The reporter came by out Metaphysical meeting a few weeks ago. He was doing a “howto” article about Lucid Dreaming and wanted to interview me since I was leading the discussion that day.
That isn’t necessarily the part of my life that I want highlighted but it’s ok. :)
This is indirectly about J. K. Rowling. The seventh book is available for pre-order!
The year 2006 was a very odd year. My father had passed away in October of 2005 so things were very different. My mom was now living alone and seemed to be having more and more problems. I worked hard all year to keep a positive attitude, specifically towards a possible relationship.
In March I took a week off to spend Spring Break with my 12 year old daughter. We had lots of fun visiting various places around South Florida and renting movies in the evening.
In May my mom fell and ended up spending six weeks in adult care. I had three weeks off in June (or I’d lose the vacation time). A lot of that time was spent visiting my mom and taking care of her finances and house.
Ironically, the day she fell, I met someone that would become very special to me. But for various reasons it did not work out.
There were no hurricanes in 2006! After we were hit by three in 2004 and another three in 2005, it was a welcome respite.
All in all I’d say 2006 was a character building year. Maybe 2007 could be a fun year? One can hope…
I admire J. K. Rowling because she has managed to get children reading again!
There were always kids who read, but now most kids read. It’s amazing and a wonderful thing.
I love the Harry Potter series. Not only is it written well, but it’s an entertaining story for both children and adults.
